Merve Harzadın, owning 100% share of MHS Mining, has international recognition in the chrome sector. She has earned a high level of respectability in Turkish and Chinese chrome markets through the volume of trade she has conducted in the last 10 years. Previously, she has conducted trading operations of an average of 200.000 tons/year of saleable ore from domestic and international producers, in addition to production operations of 650.000 tons/year of saleable ore, within the scope of mining and trading activities of CVK Group, which is one of the leading companies of Turkish mining sector. She has also become foreign investors’ center of interest in their investments in Turkey, through 2 big company sales she carried out. She has retired from her General Manager position of 3 years in the first of these projects, CVK Group-TISCO (China) joint venture, for the General Manager position she took up in the Turchrome Chrome Mining Company which is the second company sale project she concluded in the same way. She has exhibited a successful management in CVK Group, as well as the two foreign investment companies.
Merve Harzadın, who graduated from İstanbul Technical University, Mining Engineering Department, continued her education with International Business Administration Graduate Program in Marmara University. With the experience she gained from her professional career and her site practices, she founded MHS Mining in October 2013. The company, even though it has started its activities in the last quarter of 2013, has gained its place among the top 3 companies in the İstanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters’ Union (İMMİB) chrome exporters list in less than a year.
